BCD AmScuD PREDATOR The AMSCUD Predator BCD is a lightweight and inexpensive jacket style BCD with weight integrated system. The AMSCUD Predator BCD has two 8 lbs. (3.63 kg) quick release weight pockets. The weight pockets are equipped with easy to ditch just pull release handles which allows weighs to fall away. These gravity style pockets are one of the easiest to operate in a diving emergency. The BCD harness assembly consists of torso adjustable shoulder straps with a removable and adjustable sternum strap and adjustable waist strap with cummerbund. All strap buckles are squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing. Buoyancy control is made easy with the AMSCUD Predator power inflator mechanism with cable activated pull dump at the left shoulder. The BCD is also equipped with a lower rear right pull dump/overpressure relief valve with manual pull for trimming of buoyancy when you are inverted in the water. The Drift BCD is built from strong and durable 420D nylon exterior with a urethane lamination interior air cell with radio frequency (RF) welded seams for airtight integrity. The AMSCUD Predator provides from 24 lbs. to 40 lbs. (10.9 kg to 18.14 kg) of lift depending on the size. AMSCUD Predator comes with a 3/8″ threaded low pressure quick disconnect hose, and owner’s manual.

OCTOPUS AmScuD RX
AMSCUD RX is a new Second Stage Octopus featuring classic downstream valve technology, well known for safety and reliability. It’s simple and robust construction offers the utmost in reliability and makes the AMSCUD RX the ideal second stage for new divers and a perfect choice for deco tanks thanks to its reversible hose attachment. Pre-tuned for safe and uncomplicated use, the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming airflow. To close the valve and stop the airflow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve.
The octopus version combines the features of the AMSCUD RX with a high visibility yellow cover and a 39″ (100 cm) long yellow hose for easy identification and sharing. The AMSCUD RX Octopus has a high comfort orthodontic mouthpiece and weighs 5.8 oz. (165 g).

Upon our inspections of many rental BCD, the main reasons of failing BCDs are:
1. Inflator
2. Stitching
3. Material

INFLATOR — We took our time to study and learn about inflators from various brands of BCDs in the market. We also studied on what parts might fail first considering that inflator is something that has moving parts. So, we took all the good juices and further improved our inflator designs.
Utilizing a Wraparound Jacket design, this BC is perfect for divers of All-Skill-Level. Raptor is equipped with AmScuD Durable Tilt Valve Power Inflator and O.P.E.V. Dump Valve which is located on the Lower-Right-Hand-Side.

STITCHING AND MATERIALS — These two things relate to each other. It took us so many years to learn that most brands using only the most reliable materials such as Cordura 1000. It is true that Cordura 1000 is very very reliable. However, Cordura 1000 material doesnt work well with stitching. As hard as the material itself, sticthing on a Cordura 1000 after a certain period of time, will result into a failing stitches.

AmScuD Ultimate Stabilizing Harness (USH) completely eliminates tank roll and delivers an amazing fit. The USH securely holds the air cylinder in place with optimally placed rails and brings the tank closer to the body increasing tank control while reducing weight. The Ritetite Buckle is a 2-Position Cam Strap for Quick-and-Easy Adjustment. While the strap is being looped through the buckle, the buckle stays in place without needing to be held. This allows for more Control-and-Stability. This feature is part of all AmScuD BCJ’s.

REGULATOR AmScuD TX100

The AMSCUD TX100 regulator’s amazing breathing, which is rated as superior” on the ANSTI breathing machine, coupled with its generous features, at an attractive mid-range price, provides the best value of any regulator offered today. AMSCUD TX100 comes standard with Aqua Lung’s unique, patented, auto-closure device (ACD) which seals water out. OCTOPUS AmScuD RX

AMSCUD RX is a new Second Stage Octopus featuring classic downstream valve technology, well known for safety and reliability. It’s simple and robust construction offers the utmost in reliability and makes the AMSCUD RX the ideal second stage for new divers and a perfect choice for deco tanks thanks to its reversible hose attachment. Pre-tuned for safe and uncomplicated use, the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming airflow. To close the valve and stop the airflow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve.

The octopus version combines the features of the AMSCUD RX with a high visibility yellow cover and a 39″ (100 cm) long yellow hose for easy identification and sharing. The AMSCUD RX Octopus has a high comfort orthodontic mouthpiece and weighs 5.8 oz. (165 g).

Regulator Mares DUAL 15X

The simple Dual second stage regulator is lightweight 6.5 oz. (183g) offering high air flow and an easy-to-use oversized purge button. It’s first stage combination, the 15X, includes pre-oriented ports, an ACT valve which guarantees reliability and safety and a DFC system for great performance! Compact, reliable, and performance are the key words for describing this new Mares first stage. Featuring the DFC system, it meets all divers’ demands at any depth. The new valve guarantees longevity and advanced performance.

Another unique feature of the first-stage is the dynamic flow control (DFC). The DFC system minimizes the intermediate pressure drop during inhalation. Pressure gauge has 0 to 5,000 psi readout with a safety reserve 1000 psi color coded in red to allow the diver to know that they are low on air. The 2000 psi to full scale is color coded in blue. The pressure gauges 7/16″ UNF neoprene jacket double braided high-pressure hose has a 360° swivel and is 36″ (90 cm) long. The compact gauge is 5.2″ x 2.8″ x 0.9″ (132 x 70 x 23mm), weights 9.88 oz. (280 g). Gauge is nitrox ready to 40% oxygen out of the box.

This very accurate oil filled depth gauge reads depth from 0′ to 230′ and comes equipped with a maximum depth indicator needle (MDIN). The MDIN is pushed by the gauge depth needle until the diver meets their maximum depth. The MDNI will remain at the maximum depth reached for the duration of the dive to indicate the diver’s deepest depth reached during the dive. This feature allows the diver to not record that depth while diving, yet will be available upon surfacing for later calculations for repetitive dives. Depth Gauge is color coded for easy and safe reading at a glance. Depth Gauge has a 0′ to 230′ readout with a safety red color-coded section from 0′ to 30′.
